How do I know if my insurance covers The Plano Program? Clients are responsible for contacting their provider to ask if nutrition is covered. Once this is established ask how many calendar visits per year are covered and if there is a co pay.
Even though I have insurance is there any out of pocket expense? Yes, whether you have unlimited visits OR 2 visits covered there is a start up fee of $250 which covers an initial assessment, metabolism test, and booklet.
What format is used for the counseling sessions? The Plano Program reserves the right to place clients into groups with no more than 3 people. Sessions will be 20-30 min in duration and will include Q&A, education, and body composition analysis (in private). Counseling sessions will be available multiple times a week.
Is Personal Training Covered? At this time, personal training is not covered by insurance.
